The winners of the 1st Online ManagEnergy Drawing and Photography competition have now been selected by the Reflection Group who voted independently for their favourite pictures and photographs.

The prize winners (who received the most votes in each category) were officially announced at the Energy on Education Conference in Paris on 22 September 2006.

The winner of the 12-16 age group photography competition was Adrián Pérez Velasco, aged 13, from Villarrubia de Santiago (Toledo), Spain. Details of the prize presentation will be added to this page shortly.

The winner of the 7-11 age group drawing competition was Grace Shanahan-Smith, aged 11, from Southbourne, UK, shown (middle left top) in the school garden with some of her class mates wearing their ManagEnergy 'Ronaldo the Reindeer' T-shirts. As her prize, Grace received a gift token to spend on art materials, while her class mates received a T-shirt each and the school received a selection of solar and wind education construction kits (bottom).

Additional prizes were donated by Bournemouth Borough Council and BWEA - the British Wind Energy Association.
