The aim of AIEL - Associazione Italiana Energia dal Legno is to promote the use of wood fuels (coming from agro-forest ecosystems) at different scales and especially based on the "capacity building" of the territory in which plants and/or heating systems are present.


Activities include dissemination and formation (training courses), project planning and promoting new tecnology, advice and RES market analysis.


Areas of expertise: Advice on specific energy issues relating to wood energy and wood fuels, EU market, prices and costs, standardisation, quality of products and materials, EU legislation and regulations.
