The ASEW provides support for energy efficiency measures and conservation efforts.

The ASEW is a know-how-platform of more than 270 local public utilities (energy and water suppliers). It helps public utilities raising competence in current topics of rational use of energy, water and promoting renewable energy, giving a competitive edge by developing modern energy and water service packages and providing advanced training for employees in the field of new energy. The ASEW helps the energy and water suppliers to reduce costs by building cooperations and strategic partnerships.The ASEW allows for exchange of experience in workshops and project groups.

Areas of expertise: dissemination of information, advice on specific energy issues, energy auditing, promotion of technology, energy efficiency in buildings, water efficiency, counselling of local public utilities and drafting of statements.
