Slovnaft VURUP as carries out research, development and testing of new or innovated products in the area of motor fuels or alternative fuels for spark-ignition, diesel and jet engines, solvents, fuel gas and fuel oils, specialities and additives are the tasks of the department. Developing and putting into practice environmental technologies directed at disposal of refinery waste and environmental air protection. It is providing the determination of biological degradability of products and evaluation of their toxic features.

Areas of expertise: Promoting use of alternative fuels.
