General Info

The Independent Ecological Center would like to support all initiatives that help to achieve a sustainable Hungary. Because of the importance of building sector, the Center focuses on regional and city planning and on sustainable building (energy efficiently, use of renewable energy, sewage water treatment, healthy building materials and indoor climate).

Areas of expertise:

  • Development of concept for rural- and urban sustainability visions, and prepare of pre-feasibility studies.
  • Development and maintain of national web database and platform for sustainable building, and to help application of renewable energy sources.
  • Organisation of events for experts, for citizens and for NGOs.

Target audience: Citizens, experties (architects, urban planners, engineers), producers, business sectors, NGOs.
