General Info

The Centre for Renewable Energy (SFFE) unifies the competence of NTNU and SINTEF within the field of renewable energy, as well as initializing new and relevant research tasks. Research fields include small scale hydropower, wind-, solar-, wave-, and bio energy as well as social dimensions of energy use.

Areas of expertise: In cooperation with Norwegian industry, SFFE aims to contribute to strategies and knowledge for innovation and development of new renewable energy technologies, with the goal of improving the environment as well as creating values.
