Pieriki Anaptixiaki S.A.-O.L.A. was founded on August 1991. Its activities are prescribed by the wider European philosophy, for more essential decentralisation, with active contribution in the planning and management of the development resources, through the coordination of all local institutional authorities. The detection, research, promotion, support and realization of integrated proposals for the development of Pieria Prefecture is achieved through the productive exploitation of national and European financial support and development programs.
The company's strategy determines its contribution in the evolution, exploitation, promotion, growth, management and protection of the natural and human resources, cultural heritage, and industrial growth of Pieria Prefecture. Along with its consulting and technical character, the company promotes innovative development initiatives for the more effective absorption of national resources and E.C. allocations.
Pieriki has established a design advice and support unit for RES and energy efficiency mainly focused on rural areas. Moreover, the company has and is taking part in a number of EC projects under the 16th Directorate of Energy and Transport and Intelligent Energy Europe Programme.
Pieriki, as Leader+ LAG, has adapted special Energy Efficiency and RES requirements for all the projects under funding. Moreover a number of studies on RES and energy efficiency have been conducted.
