General Info

Kirklees Council aims to
  • reduce CO2 emissions 30% by 2005 from a 1990 baseline - in their own buildings and across the district
  • have 10% of their energy requirements supplied by renewables by 2010
  • reduce water consumption to equal or less than national benchmarks
  • encourage and improve water management and conservation

Areas of expertise cover energy and water conservation in domestic and commercial buildings including aspects relating to policy, CHP, renewables, grants, Service Level, Agreements, CCP, Energy database, etc.
