TRT Trasporti e Territorio Srl is an Italian consultancy specialised in research and quantitative analysis, strategic planning and economic and financial evaluation of transport and land use policies and investments projects. The professional staff of the company guarantees expertise in the fields of transport modelling, engineering and economics, urban and regional planning, statistics and operation research and is accustomed to working in multidisciplinary teams and international consortia.

TRT Trasporti e Territorio offers flexible methodologies and tools to produce studies at different dimensional scales, from local projects to sector policies and strategic planning.


Areas of expertise: feasibility studies, transport demand analysis and forecasts, policy development and planning as well as freight transport and logistics. We have long record of experience in supporting public and private decisions through ex-ante assessment of impacts of transport investment and policies on welfare (cost benefit analysis, optimal regulation and infrastructure pricing). This is combined with the greatest attention being devoted to the analysis of costs and performances of different transport industries (rail and road, maritime and civil aviation). In addition we have developed a significant capability in investigating behavioural factors (stated and revealed preferences) behind mobility and location choices of individuals, families and firms.
