The research conducted within TRANSLOG focuses on the application of management science methods and information systems technologies in transportation systems analysis and logistics. Emphasis is made on interdisciplinary research involving university faculty, doctoral students, and national and international partners, to grasp the multiple facets and rapidly evolving changes in the area of logistics and supply chain management. The areas of expertise include Air Transport, Logistics Systems and Supply Chain Management, Intermodal Transport, Emergency Response Systems, and Transport Systems Performance and Pricing. TRANSLOG has participated (participates) in over 30 collaborative research projects, many among those being funded by the European Commission.
