General Info
The objectives of Rhonalpenergie-Environnement (RAEE) are to inform, advise and assist local authorities and the actors of the para-public sector.
To this end, RAEE has three main missions:
- Animation of a resource and exchange center, including: regional observatory of energy and greenhouse gas emissions (OREGES), publications (newsletters, brochures), working groups ("Wood Energy and Air Pollution", "Legal Frameworks for PV Installations"...), training, seminars, study tours, a web TV (Geneera TV),...
- Advising and assisting local authorities and target groups during the definition and implementation of sustainable energy and environment projects, for example:
Wood energy, wind power, solar energy, biogas,... - Supporting and implementing programmes and collective actions on a territory, for example:
- Developing renewable energies in regional natural parks - Green public procurement and eco-responsibility
- Environmental policy
- Local Agenda 21
Target Audience: local authorities, the public sector, organisations governed by public laws (social housing companies, hospitals, schools...)
Areas of expertise include: dissemination of information, energy auditing, promotion of technologies, energy efficiency in buildings, CHP, small wind farms, solar energy, support for project realisation in wood energy, small district heating networks, mobility management for small towns and school,...
