The Kara Karum mountains in the north of Pakistan, have hundreds of peaks above 8000 metres and unlimited glaciers, forming the tributries for the Indus River.
Kara Karum provides the first hand knowledge of the Kara Karum river systems and the sites for small and micro hydel projects. The 600 KM coastline between Karachi and Gwader has a potential for the wind parks and the organisation can provide all the local support required, for the production wind energy.
Areas of expertise: advice on the alternate energy issues in Pakistan, small wind farms, small and micro hydel projects in Pakistan. Solar energy, ram pumps, permanent megnet wind and hydel generators.
