General Info

The final mission of the OFAER, the Office of Power Advising of the Subbética Cordobesa is to help to reduce the power consumption of the buildings in the municipalities pertaining to this region, this is:

Real Almedinilla, Benamejí, Goat, Carcabuey, Doña Mencía, Oaks, Tójar Source, Iznájar, Lucena, Luque, Palenciana, Priego of Cordova, Rute and Zuheros.


In order to facilitate this, an agreement has been signed between public organisations of the province and the region with investigation institutes, with the objective of giving a free energy advice service.


This service will be totally free until end of June 2009, the date the agreement ends.


The criteria for selection of the cases to be studied will be elaborated by this office, although those individuals and companies interested in reducing the power consumption of their buildings will be able to request services whether new construction or refurbishment is anticipated.
