General Info

Regional Energy Agency of Västernorrland started in 1996 as an EU-project, SAVE. The agency is a detached part of Energidalen, an R & D-company for bio energy development. The agency is part of the network for European energy agencies for Renewable and Efficient Energy Management. The regional energy network consists of the seven municipalities of Västernorrland, the County Council, the County Administration, Mid Sweden University and companies of the region.

Objectives:

  • A more Efficient Energy Use in the region in order to decrease the total use of energy
  • An increased use of renewable energy
