The Pomeranian Centre for Environment Research and Technology (POMCERT) was set by the resolution of senates of three Universities: Medical University of Gdansk, Gdansk University of Technology and University of Gdansk.
POMCERT was created to stimulate work on research, consulting and innovation programmes within the field of environmental protection. Its field of interest mainly covers: bioenergy promotion, waste management and water protection.
Areas of expertise: professional training, promotion of bioenergy development in the Baltic Sea Region, promotion of technology and energy efficiency in buildings.
Target audience: local government administration representatives, municipalities, investors, students and academic representatives.
