General Info

The World Bioenergy Association (WBA) was inaugurated in Jönköping, Sweden at the World Bioenergy 2008 event. A new international magazine was launched at the same time to communicate its message. A major subject for discussions in the first WBA interim board on the 28 May 2008 in Jönköping was an Action Plan for the organisation. A final version was adopted which is available for download from the website. WBA warmly welcomes national and regional organisations, institutions and companies to join the new organisation and hopes for a large number of members, as WBA believes that the Bioenergy World needs it.
