General Info

Inland Norway Energy Agency (Energiråd Innlandet) was established on 1 March 2009 and is the first of its kind in Norway. The Energy Agency was established by the Regional County Administrations of Hedmark and Oppland, and the regional energy company Eidsiva Energi. The Inland Norway Energy Agency is established with the support of the EU Intelligent Energy Programme, and is part of a powerful network of some 400 energy agencies across Europe.

The vision of the energy agency is "Inland Norway carbone neutral before 2030", which is in line with the national Norwegian climate goals. Another important goal of the energy agency, is to assist the implementation of the goals of the EU Green Package, before 2020. The inland Norway Energy Agency is located at the Energy House in the town of Gjovik by the beautiful lake Mjosa and has three employees.
