AEEE aims uphold the highest standards of integrity and ethical practices within the energy-efficiency business

To support implementation of the Indian Energy Conservation Act (2001)

Provide inputs for policy-making through representing stakeholders in the EE business

Address marketing, finance and technology barriers to EE Create a pool of skilled, trained and competent Certified Mea-surement and Verification (M&V) professionals

Goals for the first 24 months: Enable the €generation€ of 2000 Megawatts by Dec 2012 (through electricity savings or Negawatts) through DSM programmes in partnership with Electricity Regulatory Commissions (ERCs). Support IT sector to get 10% more efficient in 3 years.

€ Initiative Business exchange visits. Take business delegations abroad and create collaborations and joint platform for new initiatives. Disseminate energy efficiency and environmental awareness among students and general public through electronic and print media

Alliance for an Energy Eefficient Economy was incorporated on 24 September 2008 in New Delhi, India, as a Society (Regn No: S/63470/2008 dated 24/09/2008).
