European Business & Innovation Centre, Albacete is taking part in an IEE project granted in 2008. The aim of this project is to foster the use of public transport instead private means of transport. Thanks to this, it will be possible to get sustainable cities reducing greenhouse emissions. In addition, this project counts on the participation of the Albacete local transport company responsible for managing public transport and Albacete City Council.

The Agency is in charge of representing Albacete City Council in EU projects. They are located in an industrial park because of which they have good contacts among SMEs and companies including an incubator with 25 SMEs and micro SMEs representing a wide range of fields and a close relationship with the University of Castilla La Mancha and other stakeholders in this region.

The organisation would like to become a partner in further EC projects.
