The National Agency of Natural Resources (AKBN) is a public entity, which protects and well-administrates the interests of Albanian Government in the area of mining, hydrocarbons, hydropower and energy.

The Agency (AKBN), as subordinate institution under the Minister of Economy, Trade and Energy, advises and provides government opponent on studies and projects within its activity area, and it promotes the natural resources of the country, too.
