The main activities of the State Enterprise Energy Agency, Lithuania are:

  1. Revising and updating of the National Energy Efficiency Program; organization of its implementation.
  2. Organization of execution of the special program for implementation of energy saving projects.
  3. Participation in implementation of environmental requirements in the energy sector;
  4. Organization of energy audits, monitoring, training courses and seminars. Provision of information and advice on energy use efficiency;
  5. Accumulation and analysis of technical information on the use of local and renewable energy resources in Lithuania and abroad. Consultancy, awareness campaigns, informational material regarding energy efficiency and renewable energy sources;
  6. Participation in heat sector planning; preparation of the related legislation and regulations.
  7. Preparation of information on energy.
  8. Planning of multilateral and bilateral foreign assistance and cooperation programs in the energy sector and supervision of their implementation;
