The Austrian Biomass Association supports a sustained, ecologically harmless energy supply in Austria based on solar energy and promotes an increased use of biomass in the Austrian energy system in the fields of heat, electricity and fuel supply.

The organisation is specifically involved in:

  • Energy and climate protection policy
  • Promotion of Biomass production and its application for energy purposes in Austria
  • Working as a link between energy policy, research & development and trade & industry
