General Info

The Central Finland Energy Agency promotes the use of renewable energy sources and efficient energy use in Central Finland. They are participating in the regional and national development by promoting energy efficiency and renewables in buildings, bioenergy use (large and small scale) and rational use of energy, by training, consulting and advicing. Internationally the team has participated in several European energy efficiency and bioenergy projects (partner or coordinator) and carried out consultancy work directly to industries related to development of biomass fuel supply chains and biomass heating and CHP plants and district heating. Nationally the work consists of making regional energy plans and balances, training building designers, engineers and managers in RES and energy efficiency, and offering consultancy to municipalities and industries and energy advice to consumers.
