Bryson Energy is Northern Ireland's Energy Agency. It is a Member of the Bryson Charitable Group, Northern Ireland's leading social enterprise.

Bryson Energy employs approximately 50 staff and has offices in Belfast, Derry and Enniskillen. It's aim is:

"To secure the support and active engagement of Northern Ireland's energy users, particularly households, in implementing strategies, programmes and measures to combat climate change."

Bryson Energy's work will assist with Government targets as laid out in the Sustainable Energy Framework for Northern Ireland 2010. It will contribute to the 1% year on year energy saving targets identified in the UK National Energy Efficiency Action Plan. It will also work with Government to tackel fuel poverty as outlined in "Warmer Healthier Homes: a New Fuel Poverty Strategy for Northern Ireland - March 2011".

Core activities:

• Management of energy efficiency and renewable energy initiatives (Warm Homes, Cosy Homes, Heatsmart, Education Programmes, Benefits Programmes, Grant Administration)
• Operation of the National Energy Advice Service providing energy information across Northern Ireland
• Liaison and work with range of partners including local authorities, housing associations, utility companies & Government Departments
