General Info

The aim of Newark & Sherwood Energy Agency is to:
  • Maximise local opportunities to develop an 'energy sustainable' Newark & Sherwood District
  • Promote and support policies, partnerships and technologies which reduce pollution, combat global warming, increase resource efficiency and create jobs

By means of promotion, advice and investment directed at 'Energy Efficiency & Renewable Generation' the Energy Agency seeks to:

  • improve the health, wealth and comfort of domestic households
  • reduce the energy fiscal on-cost to local business and community enterprises and so improve their efficiency and effectiveness
  • thereby create local employment opportunities and activities which contribute towards UK and European environmental targets to combat global warming.
