Major activities of BALTEF include the reduction of emissions of shipping in ports by means of power supply from the shore, by the invention on hydrogen fuel cells and by the invention of liquid natural gas (LNG) as ships fuel. Furthermore BALTEF are engaged in the creation of multimodal corridors between the southern Baltic Sea and the northern Adriatic Sea.
