The Cheshire County Council manages the Cheshire Renewable Energy Initiative that aims to provide a co-ordination mechanism for encouraging greater uptake of renewable energy across Cheshire. The network aims to improve: networking, support, advice, an information resource and promote the uptake and development of renewables within the County. A key element is the intergration of programmes operational at national and regional levels. The CREI aims to improve co-ordination at a local level by discussion and liaison with groups and organisations operating at regional and national level.
Target audience: Members of the public, private sector organisations, political decision makers.
