Tropical Energy Resources is a wholly owned Ghanaian company registered as an Independent Power Producer using Municipal Solid Waste to produce electricity. The company is now in the process of constructing a Waste to Energy Plant that would produce 52MW in Tema, Ghana. The main objectives of the company are to help clean the environment, help set up efficient waste management structures in the urban areas, and produce cheap and clean electrical energy.
