APAB is a French Non Profit Organisation based in Brittany, created in 1994. Its main objective is to develop wind energy in Brittany and, more specifically to involve local populations in the wind energy development. Its main activities are based on the social acceptance in the field of wind energy projects by :

• adopting sensitive local approach
• anticipating the multiplication of the wind projects (planning)
• involving local players
• encouraging local investment

APAB is strongly involved in windpower activities in Brittany : planning and preparation of two wind farms, cooperation with regional authorities on the realisation of a Wind Energy Charter in Finistre, a Department of Brittany.
