The Technological and Renewable Energies Institute (ITER) was created by the local Government of Tenerife Island in 1990. The objectives of this Institute are to encourage technological Research, Development and Innovation related to the use of renewable energies. ITER also aims at encouraging and contributing to the socio-economic development of our archipelago.
The main activities of ITER are:
Areas of expertise: photovoltaic, solar, energy efficiency, biofuels, sustainability, local action, dissemination of information, advice on specific energy issues, energy auditing, promotion of technology, energy efficiency in buildings, wind farms, solar energy, renewable energy (wave and wind produced), windfarms infrastructure.
