Punto Energia Cremona is part of a non-profit Association, Associazione Reti di Punti de Energia, founded in 1996 by the Lombardy Region and its Provinces and supported by the EU SAVE programme. This Network of Local Agencies promotes in Lombardy region the rational use of energy and the exploitation of renewables within the framework of sustainable development.

The Network offers a variety of services to public and private organisations, technical operators and targeted groups, primarily schools and households, providing information, advice and assistance on energy topics.

Specific areas of activity include:

• Energy planning, Energy labelling and auditing
• Contract definition with innovative financial schemes
• RUE in buildings
• Feasibility studies for the promotion of RES
• Building codes and regulations related to energy issues
• Action plans for Local Agenda 21
• EU projects
• Education, Training, Information and Communication.
