Further Information

Suisse Eole, the association for promoting wind energy in Switzerland, was established in 1998 with substantial support from the Federal Office of Energy. It is a professional association mainly orientated towards energy suppliers, public administration, engineering companies, investors as well as environmental protection associations and users of wind energy.

The main objectives of Suisse Eole are to:

help to create the economical and political setting for promoting wind energy in Switzerland

act as the Swiss platform for national and international knowledge exchange that promotes know-how transfer in political and technical groups

engage in a continuous information transfer and contribute to a wide knowledge of renewable energy sources for the public

unite experts from research, production and engineering - investments provide competent consulting in all matters of wind energy including expertise for identifying new exploitation sites Suisse Eole is fully integrated in the framework of «Energy 2000» and this contributes to the goal of making more use of renewable energy.
