Die Klimaschutzagentur Wiesbaden wurde im Juni 2001 im Rahmen des SAVE II-Programmes als gemeinnütziger Verein gegründet. Sie ist Bestandteil des Netzwerks zum europäischen Klimabündnis und unterstützt als lokaler Partner die Aktivitäten zum Klimaschutz vor Ort.
Die Klimaschutzagentur Wiesbaden eV wurde initiiert von der EU, der Stadt Wiesbaden und den Stadtwerken Wiesbaden (ESWE).
Sie kooperiert mit regionalen Betrieben, Verbänden, der Stadt Wiesbaden sowie den beiden Partneragenturen in Frankreich und Rumänien. Diese sind in Frankreich: ALME - Agence Locale de Maitrise de l'Energie und in Rumänien: ALGEPEM - Agentia Locale Petru Gestionarea Eficienta al Problematicii.
English Translation:
The Climate Protection Agency (Klimaschutzagentur Wiesbaden eV) is a non-profit organization, founded in June 2001 within the SAVE II-program. The agency is member of the networking Climate Alliance and supports climate-protection-activities as a local partner.
The Climate Protection Agency was initiated by the EU, the State Capital of Wiesbaden and the Utility Works of Wiesbaden.
The agency has a strong cooperation with enterprises (companies) from the region, the state capital of Wiesbaden and the two partner-agencies in France and Romania. Those are in France: ALME - Agence Locale de Maitrise de l'Energie and Romania: ALGEPEM - Agentia Locale Petru Gestionarea Eficienta al Problematicii.
