The Faculty of the Built Environment (FBE) at the University of the West of England, Bristol has an excellent reputation at national and pan-European levels for it's multi-disciplinary skills in the fields of sustainable development, transportation planning, and environmental management, and the development of advanced information technology tools for implementation and dissemination. At the European level, the Centre for Environment and Planning has provided the vehicle for much of this activity and in relation to this proposal offering substantial in depth understanding of the specification of good practice as well as the development of web based information dissemination and training tools.
