CREST's remit is to advance renewable energy technology so as to provide substantial and benign energy options for present and future generations. In particular CREST:

• Contributes to the development and implementation of Renewable Energy through high quality research and demonstration;
• Works with research institutions, industry and related organizations world-wide to promote renewable energy;
• Provides training and education in both theoretical and practical aspects of Renewable Energy systems technology.

Areas of expertise: wind energy, PV, electrolysis, dissemination of information, education, e-learning.
