Solar Energy Centre Denmark serves as a comprehensive collective platform for Danish solar energy, helping to maximise the effectiveness of Danish know-how and Danish products in the international market place.

The centre deals with all kind of exploitation of the energy from the sun: Thermal and passive solar heating and solar electricity used for various purposes ranging from domestic hot water, building integrated devices, stand-alone or grid connected solar electricity systems.

The aim of the centre is to structure, co-ordinate, expand and promote knowledge of solar energy. Technical advice is available and information is disseminated to professional organisations together with information concerning what all relevant authorities require. In addition participation is undertaken in international collaborative and standardisation work.

Target audience: Manufacturers, public authorities, consultants, professional associations.

Areas of expertise include: solar energy, energy efficiency in buildings, quality assurance, testing, certification.
