The activities of Whole Earth Design Technologies included development of patterns for sustainable transportation systems. This involves both the traffic vehicular type and power operating system, and the roadway design (ie: re-engineering signage) for NLV's. Research and contacts are developed to solidifiy a vision of linked technologies which when brought together provide a NGHG (non-greenhouse gas) emission, and NFF ( non-fossil fueled) pathway for transportation. This process begins with industrial design concepts based upon reality, ie: mass transit and single occupant vehicle use. With design of two occupant narrow lane vehicles, conventional lanes may be divided into two, carrying an increased SOV capacity during rush-hours, reducing the need for increased road constructions. Engine designs which do not require aspiration or supercharging have been identified, and also fluid electric fuel sources and storage technologies. Further work in developing TME systems is underway to maximize electrical energy production.
From internal HVAC systems to external natural cycles, slight variations can bring about profound benefits and advancements. So too, when research points to a viable possibility for technological transformation, or rejuvenation of an environment, a framework and pathway for their creation lays in industrial manifestation of the products, and end-user acceptance of the technology.
Target audience: Government, Venture capital, social networked investment bankers, marine engineering and materials experts.
