The activities of KOBA Renewable Energy & Environment relating to renewable energy and the environment include support to local/regional stakeholders for RES projects initiation and implementation in Mediterranean Countries.

KOBA initiates, develops, and monitors sustainable energy projects, operating at European level with focus on Italy and in the Mediterranean area.

KOBA's Main Expertise includes:

• Promotion of advanced Renewable Energy systems and Sustainable Communities in Italy and the Mediterranean area.
• Cooperation with key local stakeholders and with RE providers and associations
• Integration and implementation of the EU actions/programmes/policy at national and local level (regions and small municipalities) in order to:
  • get commitment from local decision makers
  • activate the possible spin off at local level
  • integrate local initiatives in the EU context

KOBA's Services focus on: RE project initiation, engineering & consulting services, monitoring in the implementation, full-service concepts

KOBA works with: the European Union, Ministry for the Environment and Territory, Regional and Local authorities, Technological providers and associations, Universities, Energy utilities
