The Black Sea Regional Agency for Energy Management (BSRAEM) has been established
by the Union of Bulgarian Black Sea Local Authorities (UBBSLA)
as part of the SAVE Programme
of the European Commission DG "Energy and Transport".
The activities
of BSRAEM cover the territory of the Bulgarian Black Sea coast by means of collaboration
with the National Agency for Energy Efficiency and with the Regional Energy Centers
in Bulgaria.
The activities of BSRAEM include:
BSRAEM elaborates studies in the field of composition of particular proposals for EC funded programmes in all fields of interest - energy saving, renewable energy sources, energy networks, etc.
BSRAEM supports, coordinates, promotes and disseminates successful practices such as the street revamping project, the on-site energy exploitation of the agro-industrial waste processing, energy crops, etc.
Database development: collection, categorization and dissemination of all information that exists or will arise in the process of the Agency's operation that related to energy issues in the broadest possible sense.
Areas of expertise: changing citizens' behaviour, dissemination of information, energy auditing, promotion of technology, energy efficiency in buildings, solar energy.
