  1. the Building domain
  2. Coastal Regions

Under the framework of the COGENVAD project (Combinatorial Control Environment for Distributed Power Generation Administration) the deployment of an integral solution for automated building & energy management along with cogeneration control, via an innovative product, codenamed BAIIM (Building Automation Infrastructure Integration Manager). A new breed of small-scale of multi-purpsoe Wind Energy Devices are also introduced, able to produce either heating/cooling or stabilized electric power supply.

Under the framework of the CORAL project (Community Rehabilitation & Coastal Restoration/Nourishment via use of Wave & Wind Energy Utilization Systems Managed under an Advanced Telematics Network), a new, highly robust model for the sustainable development and protection of Coastal Regions is introduced.
