National Energy Conservation Agency (NAPE) was set up in 1994 as an initiative of the Energy Conservation Foundation (FPE) as a respond to the growing market demand for energy efficient investments in Poland.
67% of the shares in NAPE belong to the Energy Conservation Foundation, 33% are in private hands.
Such a structure of the ownership ensures that NAPE has independence and is objective in all undertaking activities.
The mission of NAPE could be defined in one sentence: Stimulation of the Polish market of energy users towards the efficient and rational use, in accordance with the sustainable development.
The range of NAPE activities covered all problems arising from production, transmission and utilisation of energy, particularly with a special emphasis on the renewable fuels implementation and promotion.
The Agency is pursuing this goal by the realisation of the following tasks:
Target audience: NAPE's offer of services is dedicated to resolution of energy supply problems as well as to modernisation of existing systems on both supply and demand sides. NAPE serves cities, gminas (Polish local communities), companies, enterprises and budgetary units.
