The aim of Dr MGR Jatropha Biodiesel Project is to create confidence with farmers togrow pero-crops like Jatropha curcas and convert barren lands into green field projects so that they can contribute to reducing carbon emission levels and keep ecofriendly biofuels as energy security for the future generations.
Areas of expertise: Dissemination of information on biodiesel and production of algae-based biofuels and utilise maximum usage of solar energy in converting to power.
Target audience: Farmers around Maduari and Sivakasi - may exceed 1000 farmers and many villages
