EDORA is an independent professional federation the purpose of which is to study all measurements suitable to ensure the defense of the general interests of electricity producers starting from renewable sources of energy (E-SER) and to promote these interests.
Constituted on November 25, 2003, EDORA to date counts 44 members including 23 producers of E-SER. EDORA represents 70 % of production E-SER in Walloon Area and Brussels. This representation rises to more than 91 % of the hydro-electric production and more than 99 % for wind.
Observor members affiliated with EDORA include engineering and design departments, manufacturers, distributors, research centres and associations for a total of 21 companies including nearly 56 % of Walloon companies and 20 % of companies from Brussels.
