Regional Associations
The Green Network was established in 1992. It is a formally constituted association of more than 45 community-based organizations (CBOs) located in the urban, peri-urban and rural environment of Pietermaritzburg -Msunduzi and surrounding areas. Members include women groups, youth groups, environmental clubs, agricultural clubs and a variety of other civic organizations. Although some member organizations are politically aligned, the network itself is apolitical.
