Further Information

Business Incubator Center M.Ap.N - Bucharest (Energie & Eko Pyt Srl) is a Romanian group of companies located in Bucharest. The group is interested in promoting and implementing RES systems for different location. Generally speaking, in Romania energo-geographical potential is situated up to medium (5-12 m/s = 10-12M /h) in 60% of territory, but also small wind in the urban area. Also insolation level is very good around six month up year.

However, there are many problems with public perception in that field because many people are reliant on utility monopolist companies.

In Romania, there is specific legislation and only economic agents authorized for such purpose by the Independent Utility "The Romanian Agency for Conserving Energy" (ARCE) pursuant to may perform installation inspecting and/or repair operations of the alternative energy systems for the market. For these, economic agents may be authorized in order to supply this kind of activity, if they have a written authorization from the manufacturer of the equipments. The technical Service capability will be evaluate by the Independent Utility ARCE with an audit. This audit for the assessment of the technical capability shall be performed pursuant to the provisions of the standard SR ISO 19011:2003 and it should check whether the following necessary requirements are met:

The Group estimates a good market for this activity because many potentially costumers have recovered ancient property without any utilities and they intend to develop a rural activity (e.g. small farms) and the prices for conventional fuel and utilities are increasingly. The Group's goals are very clear; it wants to identify 3-4 manufacturer with the best Price/ Quality offers and implements pilot project in 7 region of Romania, but at the same time they must work for the education of the people, because they consider that RES equipment is very good, but not for the people which intend to spend in inefficiently ways the energy (ex-soviet system). The Group wants to demonstrate that it works in the middle of the capital of Romania. It is focused on equipment between 400W - 20kW.

Areas of expertise: changing citizens' behaviour; energy auditing; promotion of technology; energy efficiency in buildings; small wind/solar farm; insulation. The Group intends to promote projects with shortly recovering time (financially speaking).

Target audience: Architects, Local authorities, Specialists that are involved in buildings and energy field and also politicians.
