The aims of BoRAEM - Bourgas Regional Agency for Energy Management (БРАУЕ – Регионална Агенция за Управление на Енергията -Бургас) include:

• Development of projects strategies and programmes for energy efficiency in the region;
• Implementation of local initiatives and activities through utilization of alternative energy and energy management measures;
• Awareness raising and capacity building of the local stakeholders related to the energy (local and regional authorities, business, NGOs, media, science institutions, citizens, end users) on opportunities for introduction of the energy efficiency measures and modes in industry and households lifestyle;
• Dissemination of opportunities and participative activities focused on energy savings and use of renewable energy sources;
• Initiation of joint activities with project partners from Bulgaria and abroad.

Areas of expertise: changing citizens' behaviour, dissemination of information, advice on specific energy issues, energy auditing, promotion of technology, energy efficiency in buildings, small wind farms, solar energy.
