AGMEM projects include:
- CEVER There will be optimizing energy of all public schools infant and primary
education in the city (90), the monuments (25), all buildings and sites (76) and sports
facilities (97) municipals. This conduct energy audits and carry out the measures proposed by
the same. Also, criteria will be applied energy efficiency in the rehabilitation and change of use
of buildings from the former headquarters of the tobacco factory in Malaga to buildings
that will house new administrative units and municipal museum and the building that will
house the new units Management of the Municipal Urban Planning. In addition there will be an
educational popularization of the results obtained to spread among schoolchildren, the
educational community, municipal workers and citizens in general good practice in the efficient
use of energy.
The aim of this project is to eliminate inappropriate energy consumption and
minimize spending, both in economic and environmental terms, and thus avoid the
inappropriate use of limited resources. This project forms part of an ambitious plan for
energy optimisation of the Malaga City Council and is complemented by actions already
under way, such as the optimization of public lighting. Another draft presented in this
same program is the project "Installing photovoltaic plants" for a total of 3.25 MW.
- FOVER Conducting the installation of 109 photovoltaic plants with a total of 3.25 MW.
Power spread in all public schools in the city and municipal buildings with the aim of producing
energy from a renewable source for its sale generated revenue to offset the energy
expenditure of the Málaga City Council. Also, this action represents a dramatic spread of renewable
energy in the people who would like the Public Administration nearest City Hall, awareness of energy
and actual environmental challenges.
Also we need to highlight the environmental benefits of this action, the avoided a lot of
polluting gases in the generation of electricity with respect to conventional central generation.
This project forms part of an ambitious plan for energy optimisation of the Málaga City Council
and is complemented by actions already under way, such as the optimization of public
lighting, and another draft presented at the same programme as is the so-called "Schools,
buildings, offices, monuments and sports facilities municipal energy-efficient" (CEVER).
- Installing stabilizers-reducers in the electrical control panels in the city of Málaga. The action
involves the installation of stabilizers-reducing equipment in the electrical control panels of
the city of Málaga. This, in addition to the environmental benefits and energy savings to be
developed in this action, will make a detailed inventory of all electrical boxes in the city, which
would provide a very important information, which could be used for better control of the
system Public lighting of the city, as well as the basis for future actions to improve the same.
Moreover, the disclosure will be made public at this action, promote the importance of saving
energy in lighting in the citizens.
The stabilizers-reducers allow that reduces the flow of bright lights at certain times and
situations where they are not needed the maximum levels of illumination and further stabilize
voltage levels to nominal performance lamps, preventing the passage of overvoltage
(generating an additional energy consumption in addition to shorten the life of the lamps and
even reaching destruction) and subtensiones (which can produce some untimely muted
lamps).
