Established in 1988, the Inter-University Research Centre for Technology, Work and Culture (IFF/IFZ) is an interdisciplinary research institute dealing with the management of transitions towards sustainable technologies and generally socio-economic aspects of technologies (e.g. the interlinkage of technological and social/organisational innovations). Building on the experience in research and consulting in the field of green public procurement the Procurement Service Austria has been established in 1997, which serves as a central information service for green public procurement in Austria, which is also the national partner for the Procura+ Sustainable Procurement Campaign.
