Gruppo Impresa Finance (GIF)is a North-Italian financial and management consulting company (SME) located in Brescia, specialised among others in project setting up and project management. It has an Energy, Environment and Regional Development Division which is one of its most active and successful divisions. It focuses on environment protection, energy saving, new and renewable energy sources, syndicated technology and regional development and has been constantly growing in terms of successful European and national projects and events. This division is in strict collaboration with the EU Projects Division when the projects are European level ones.
GIF offers professional consultancy regarding regional, national and EU project feasibility, development and management, RTD project co-ordination, dissemination of results and technology transfer actions to companies (in particular SMEs), public utilities, local authorities, universities and research centres for complete project management. Having worked on a lot of energy related projects GIF has accumulated experience and a network of contacts and partners related to these fields.
GIF also participates in EU projects in the frame of which it carries out assessment, feasibility and state-of-the-art studies, technology transfer and dissemination actions and organises/manages trainings and events.
GIF's team consists of highly qualified professionals coming from diversified competency fields which enables it to cover quite a wide range of topics.
References: GIF has about 500 active clients in Italy and 3800 projects realized during its activity in Italian and in European programmes, and it has participated in more than 50 EU projects and obtained contributions for more than 22.000 mEuro, in programmes like: Brite, Jop, Ecip, Espirit FUSE, EIB, Ceca, Tide, Espirit ESD, Esprit ESD, LIFE, Thermie, Altener II, EESD, GROWTH, FP5, FP6 and IEE. It has several past experiences on local-regional-national energy projects. In addition, GIF is a partner in two IEE projects (REDUBAR - IEE 2005, about biogas, and GEOSS - IEE 2006 in negotiation, about geothermal heat pumps), and it is acting as a management consultant to the lead partner of SMART - IEE 2006 in negotiation, about minihydro applications.
