London Borough of Merton aims to cut municipal CO2 emissions by 15% by 2015. To generate 10% of municipal energy from renewables by 2015. To implement a borough district heat and power scheme using combined heat and power engines fueled by biogas made from anaerobically digesting and pyrolysising domestic and municipal waste.

Areas of expertise: Spatial planning to require the use of renewable energy equipment in new buildings. Decentralised energy generation and distribution systems. Work with international universities on energy projects (Venice, Oxford, MIT, UCL).
